STATISTICAL QUALITY CONTROL ANALYSIS ON PRODUCTION OF PAINT (A CASE STUDY OF FOLLY PAINT INDUSTRY LIMITED IBADAN)

ABSTRACT
This project work covers the quality control analysis on the production of paint from Folly paint Industry Limited, Ibadan as my case study.
The whole project work contains five (5) Chapters. The introduction of the study, brief historical background of the case study, aim and objective of the project work were treated in chapter one as well as the definition of terms.
Chapter two (2) deals with literature review of statistical quality control analysis
In chapter three (3), comprises research methodology, research typology, tools of analysis, method of estimation
Chapter four (4) which is the data presentation contain estimate of control chart (C-chart) and Estimation of proportion chart (P – Chart)
Finally, Chapter five (5) contain summary, Findings, conclusion and recommendation with references etc.

1.0       INTRODUCTION
The proper function of statistics is to enlarge our knowledge of complex pneumonia, and to lead precision to our ideas that would otherwise remain vague and intermediate.
The aim of the project work is to use the application of statistics quality to determine the production process of folly paint industries which is our case study.
According to Robert W. Bugess “The Fundamental gospel of statistics is to push pack back on area of activity of ignorance obituary or premature decision tradition and domatism and to increase the domain in which decision are made ad principles are formulated on the above classis that shall concentrate our study of the statistical quality control analysis on production of paints.
Statistical quality control is now widely in the industries and carried out easily because there is no difficulty in operation.
